Driver guide

Your first job,
start to finish.

How Swooping actually works — what the jobs are, what's expected, and how fast the money moves. No passengers, no food. Just trash cans.

Path to your first payout

Five stages from download to money in the bank. Tap a step to see what to expect.

  1. 1

Applying, tracking your status, working, getting paid — the app is home base for all of it. No emails to chase.

  2. 2

No resume, no interview, no fee. Have your driver's license, insurance, and vehicle details handy and it's one sitting.

  3. 3

You can check your status in the app anytime — and you'll hear back either way, no black hole.

  4. 4

This is the last gate — with payouts connected, you're officially able to accept and complete services.

  5. 5

Cash out as soon as your earnings settle — far faster than waiting on a weekly check.

Three kinds of jobs. That's it.

Every service is one of three shapes — here's what each one means when it's you doing the driving.

One visit
When it's due
Out by 6:30 AM on service day — or as early as 6 PM the night before (night before is preferred)
The work
Roll the cans from where they live out to the curb.
Photo proof
One photo: cans at the curb.

Most Swoopers run these the night before — done by dinner, not before dawn.

A job, start to finish

Eight steps from "good morning" to "cashed out."

Step 01

Your day at a glance

Open to today's route: what's up next, new offers nearby, and your running total. A 6 AM summary tells you what your morning looks like before you're out of bed.

No shifts, no minimums — a quiet day costs you nothing.

Step 02

Accept what fits

Nearby services show the pay up front, before you commit. Take the ones that work for you, skip the ones that don't.

Stack jobs in one neighborhood and your hourly climbs.

Step 03

Run your route

Your accepted stops line up into an ordered route with one-tap navigation. No dispatcher, no guesswork.

Most stops take just a few minutes each.

Step 04

Know before you knock

Every job carries the customer's gate code, access note, and a photo of exactly where the cans live.

Can't find them? Message the customer right from the job.

Step 05

Do the work

Roll the cans to the curb — or back. That's the whole job. No doorbells, no passengers, no food runs.

Standard rolling cans, up to 50 lbs.

Step 06

Prove it

Take the photo in the app as you finish. GPS confirms you're at the right address — you'll see the pill flip to Verified.

In-app photos are what get your service approved for payout.

Step 07

Done — customer notified

Mark it complete and the customer instantly gets their photo proof. Good photos are where five-star ratings come from.

Step 08

Watch it add up

Every approved service lands in your earnings. Release them through Stripe and cash out fast — no waiting on a weekly check.

Track it all in the app: earnings, ratings, and your on-time streak.

Got what it takes?

Six boxes. If you can check them all, you're exactly who we're looking for.

What good looks like

The app tracks ratings, completion, and on-time take-outs. Here's how top Swoopers keep all three green.

Photo proof, every service

Take it in the app, at the moment you finish.

Snap it later from memory — or from the truck.

Cans where they belong

Match the customer's photo and access note.

Guess, and leave them blocking the driveway.

Out before the truck

Take-outs at the curb by 6:30 AM on service day — from 6 PM the night before is even better.

Roll up after the hauler has already run.

Speak up early

Message the customer in-app if something's off — blocked gate, missing can.

Skip the stop silently and hope nobody notices.

Driver questions, answered

More detail in the driver help center.

How long does approval take?

Most background checks clear within 48 hours of submitting your application, and you're notified in the app either way. Connect your payouts and you're ready to accept services.

Do I pick my own hours?

Completely. There are no shifts and no minimums — services appear nearby, and you accept the ones that fit your day. Evenings are the natural rhythm: run tomorrow's take-outs and today's returns in one efficient loop after 6 PM.

What if I can't find the cans?

Every job includes the customer's access note and a photo of where the cans live. If something still doesn't add up, message the customer directly from the job in the app.

When do I get paid?

You're paid per completed service — the amount is shown before you accept. Once a service is approved, release your earnings through Stripe and cash out as soon as they settle.

Where does Swoop operate?

We're live in a growing list of Florida neighborhoods and expanding. The app only shows you services in active areas near you.

Sound like your kind of work?
