What is Swoop?
Swoop is an app for handling trash day. Customers schedule in the app, and we bring their cans to the curb on collection day and back again — with a photo confirming every service. As a Swooper, you handle those pickups and returns in neighborhoods near you.
Do I need a truck?
No! You use your vehicle to get to the route, but the work is done on foot within the neighborhood. A sedan works perfectly.
When do I work?
You're notified when a customer schedules service, and you claim what fits your schedule. For take-out & return, you bring the cans to the curb by 8am on service day and return them to their spot that evening. For return-only service, you just bring the cans back in the evening.
How does pay work?
You're paid per completed service, and rates vary by location. Through Stripe, you release your earnings and cash out as soon as they settle — far faster than a typical weekly check.
