What Swoop's trash pickup service does

Your city or waste management provider picks up the trash — but getting the cans to the curb on time, and returning them after, is on you. That's the part Swoop handles. We're a tech-enabled trash can service operating across Florida: you book a pickup in the Swoop app, a background-checked Swooper moves the cans on your collection day, and you get a time-stamped photo in the app when it's done.

Swoop was built for the people who can't always be home on trash day: snowbirds who leave Florida for the summer, property managers with multiple Airbnb or VRBO rentals, families traveling for school breaks, HOA residents who get fined when cans stay out too long, and busy professionals who'd rather spend 30 seconds in an app than 30 minutes every Tuesday dragging cans across a long driveway.

There are three service types, priced the same across every Florida city we serve: Take Out ($11.99) — we put your cans at the curb before collection; Return ($11.99) — we bring them back after; Take Out & Return ($19.99) — both, on the same day. Set up a recurring schedule that matches your city's collection day and save 20%, or book one-time as needed. No contracts. No tipping. Cancel anytime.

FAQ

About Swoop's trash pickup service

What is a trash can pickup service?

A trash can pickup service handles the physical work of taking your trash and recycling cans from your property to the curb on collection day, and returning them afterward. Swoop is a tech-enabled version of this service — you schedule in an app, a background-checked Swooper handles the cans, and you receive photo verification when it's done.

How is Swoop different from my regular trash collection?

Swoop doesn't replace your city or HOA trash collection — the garbage truck still picks up your trash. Swoop handles the part in between: getting the cans to the curb in time for pickup, and returning them so they don't sit on the street. Think of it like 'Uber for trash cans.'

How much does Swoop cost in Florida?

Pricing is the same across all Florida service areas: $11.99 for take-out only, $11.99 for return only, or $19.99 for the full take-out and return service. Save 20% with a recurring schedule. No contracts, no tipping, no hidden fees.

Which Florida cities does Swoop serve?

Swoop currently serves 14 Florida cities including Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Wellington, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, Winter Garden, and Clermont. We're expanding across Florida — if your city isn't listed, join the waitlist in the Swoop app.

Do I need to be home when Swoop comes?

No. Most of our customers aren't home during service. You provide access instructions when you book (e.g., where the cans are stored), and the Swooper handles the rest. You'll receive a photo confirmation in the app when the job is complete.

Is Swoop available for HOA communities?

Yes. Swoop is HOA-compliant and popular in gated and HOA-governed communities across Florida. We return cans the same day so they don't violate curbside time limits, and the photo verification gives you documented proof of service if your HOA ever asks.
